ROUTE 4 ITINERARY:
Peschiera > Sirmione > Peschiera full immersion

  • 9:45 AM Boarding at Peschiera del Garda.
  • 10:00 AM Departure with Aida ship from Peschiera del Garda. Departure from Peschiera, boat tour around the city, then continue on open lake with a route towards Sirmione. Circumnavigation of Sirmione and its ancient village. Guided tour on board.
  • 11:30 AM Disembarkation at Sirmione (Sirmione pier). Free time for your lunch either independently or in a restaurant and return at your leisure.
  • 3:00 PM Guided tour of the Grotte di Catullo. Visit the picturesque historic centre of Sirmione, a true gem of Lake Garda, with its two symbols: the Scaligero Castle and the Grotte di Catullo.

THE SCALIGERO CASTLE AND THE GROTTE DI CATULLO

The Fortress welcomes visitors at the beginning of the historic centre, founded by the Scaligeri from 1277, it is entirely surrounded by the waters of the lake and still retains the dock where the fleet was repaired.

The so-called Grotte di Catullo are actually nothing but the remains of an imposing Roman villa from the 1st century AD.

This building was constructed on the tip of the peninsula, the most beautiful place in Sirmione, from here you can still enjoy a breathtaking panorama while admiring the Roman ruins.


The Grotte di Catullo and the Scaligero Castle must be booked in advance (handled by us).

Duration of the visit from 2 to 3 hours

Approximately 5:15 PM – end of services.

  • Navigation service with on-board staff providing the route information in Italian and guided tour of the Grotte di Catullo.

The above price does not include:

  • CASTLE: €6 for ages 25 and over - €2 for ages 18 to 25 - free for under 18s
  • GROTTE DI CATULLO: €8 for ages 25 and over - €2 for ages 18 to 25 - free for under 18s
  • Lunch at a restaurant and personal extras and entry to museums not mentioned in the program.
